In January 2011 we began working with the Special Olympics Rhode Island on graphics and displays for their new offices in Smithfield, RI. The executive director had a specific vision he wanted for the offices, which included a lobby, a function room, a hall of fame and thank you areas. Our team is familiar with doing corporate offices so we got to work immediately. We photographed the building, took measurements and began the design and layout. After a few brainstorming meetings we created mockups and the process of bringing the executive director’s vision to reality was underway. Our in-house design team sorted through hundreds of images, laying them out and capturing the right feeling for this environment. Our fabricators created a solution to the client’s need to be able to add sponsors and spotlight key athletes in the future. Materials we used were:
3M IJ180 adhesive vinyl, 3M cut vinyl text, Silver dimensional letters, templated Standoff interchangeable Plexiglas panels, and templated sponsor decals. After 5 months of hard work, the graphics were installed and the client was thrilled.
On June 15th the grand opening celebration was held. Our team was invited to attend and we were thrilled with the praise and accolades we received from the executive director. Athletes were on hand to view the graphics and everyone was thrilled with the outcome. Projects like this are truly a pleasure to work on.
