1994
Beginnings in Digital Printing
In 1994, DGI was established, coinciding with the rise of digital printing technology.
1995
DGI Pioneers into Dye Sublimation
DGI achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first dye sublimated fabric provider in the Boston area.
1995
3M Strategic Alliance
InVisuals formed a strategic partnership with 3M, cementing its position as the sole graphics production company in Boston to provide "Scotchprint" products.
2002
The Biggest in New England
The merger of DGI and InVisuals gave birth to DGI-InVisuals, which now stands as the largest provider of large format graphic solutions in New England.
2008
DGI Enters Technology Sector
DGI entered the integration market by acquiring several technology companies, paving the way for print and technology services and introducing "Experiential".
2012
Bigger & Better Space
DGI moves to a new, spacious 40,000-square foot facility, providing an opportunity to invest in new equipment, expand capabilities, increase manufacturing space, and enhance the customer experience with a multimedia product showroom.
2015
New Generation of Leadership
Michael Walsh and David Meneely joined DGI as partners, doubling down on the vision of combining technology and print to create a unique experience.
2017
DGI Expands
DGI reached new heights by expanding to over 120 employees, unifying its divisions, and establishing a strong leadership position in the marketplace.
2019
DGI Acquires ACT Associates
To bolster its national leadership in audiovisual design and consulting, DGI acquired ACT Associates.
